The Learning
Hub is a dynamic child enrichment centre
that meets the need of the whole child inspired
by Howard Gardner and Reggio Emilia. The
Learning Hub takes an alternative approach
to education believing that a child will
only be inspired to be a responsible global
citizen if the mind, body and soul are nourished.
Our daily routine includes quiet time for
the children and simple visualisation techniques.
Our primary focus is having
children learn through using a hands-on
fun based activity approach. We have designed
curriculums that have children become critical
thinkers and problem solvers. In addition,
because language and literacy are the foundation
of education, both are solidly and creatively
built into our daily programmes. In this
way, children develop the vital skills they
require to become confident lifelong learners.
The Learning Hub believes
that the way forward lies in a holistic
approach that addresses body, mind and spirit
and not only academics. Thus we offer alternative
healing therapies for both adults and children.
In particular we tend to focus on the well
being of the family unit as we believe this
is crucial in creating a better tomorrow
for all of us.
